Stitch Money Email Communications Notice

This notice explains how Stitch Money classifies email communications and how you can control email preferences.

1) Email categories
We classify emails into two categories:
Transactional/service emails:
- Security alerts, account notices, legal notices, receipts, billing notices, and product messages needed to operate your account.
- This category also includes opted-in Stitch Premium reminder/report emails and support-case communications.
Marketing emails:
Promotional campaigns, feature spotlights, recommendation emails, lifecycle campaigns, newsletters, and similar content.
2) Global marketing opt-in rule
Stitch Money uses a global strict opt-in model for marketing email. We send marketing email only when you have explicitly opted in.
Recommendation emails are treated as marketing emails.
3) Transactional/service messages
Transactional/service messages may still be sent even if you are not opted in to marketing email, because these communications help us operate your account and provide the Service.
For Stitch Premium, reminder/report messages you enable in-product are handled as service communications.
4) Unsubscribe and preference controls
You can unsubscribe from all non-essential Stitch Money emails by:
- Using the unsubscribe link in a Stitch Money email
- or Updating your preferences in account settings
- The email unsubscribe link is designed to turn off non-essential email (including marketing and optional reminder/report emails).
- Essential transactional/service notices may still be sent.
5) Consent records
When marketing preference changes, we maintain records such as timestamp, source, policy version, and related audit metadata for compliance and dispute resolution.
6) Suppression list handling
When you unsubscribe, your email may be added to a suppression list used to block future marketing sends.
If you later opt back in to marketing, unsubscribe suppression may be removed for marketing delivery.
7) Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. If changes are material, we will provide notice by email or in-app and update the Effective Date.
